Product Warranty Information
As an authorized dealer, we stand behind the premium brands we carry. All products sold by Performance JDM are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties (typically 1-year limited from the date of purchase).
What is Covered
While specific terms vary by brand, manufacturer warranties strictly cover mechanical defects and flaws in workmanship that prevent the product from functioning as intended under normal use conditions.
What is Not Covered
- × Cosmetic Imperfections: Scratches, dents, fading, or minor visual flaws that do not affect the mechanical functionality of the part.
- × Improper Use & Installation: Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
- × Competitive Racing: Failures resulting from participation in competitive racing, track events, or extreme off-road use, unless the product is explicitly designated for such purposes by the manufacturer.
- × Normal Wear: Normal wear and tear over the course of the product's lifespan (e.g., brake pads, clutch discs, filters).
Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
Performance JDM acts solely as a distributor for the products we sell. The final determination of warranty approval or denial is made strictly by the original manufacturer.
Under no circumstances shall Performance JDM or the manufacturer be liable for any incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the product. This includes, but is not limited to, costs associated with installation labor, towing, vehicle rental, loss of revenue, or damage to other components.
Certain products sold may be intended for off-road use only. It is the buyer's explicit responsibility to check and comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations prior to installation.
How to Claim Your Warranty
To initiate a warranty claim, you must provide proof of the defect. We are here to help facilitate the claim process with the manufacturer on your behalf.

- Date of Purchase
- Detailed description of the issue
- Clear photos or videos demonstrating the mechanical defect
